Clinical Services
What We Do and How We Do It
What is EliteCare Home Healthcare?
EliteCare Home Healthcare is Dubai’s first RRT-led, pulmonologist-directed specialist respiratory home care company. We deliver specialist clinical visits — and 24/7 remote tele-clinical support between visits — to high-acuity patients who need hospital-grade respiratory care at home.
We are not a general home nursing agency. We are the specialist clinical layer that bridges the gap between the ICU and the home, for patients who are too complex for general home nursing but do not need to remain in the hospital.
What clinical services do you provide?
EliteCare operates under three DET-licensed activity streams:
- Home Healthcare Centre — specialist clinical home visits: ventilator management, airway clearance, oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP management, tracheostomy care, chest physiotherapy, post-ICU rehabilitation, and 24/7 remote tele-clinical support
- Medical Treatment Facilitation Services — hospital-to-home discharge coordination, insurance pre-authorisation support, and specialist referral management
- Health Awareness Services — structured caregiver training, corporate respiratory wellness, and DHA-aligned community health programmes
Who leads the clinical team?
EliteCare is founded and led by Kaine Prudence Teme, RRT, MPH — a Registered Respiratory Therapist with over 10 years of UAE frontline clinical experience, including ICU ventilator management, complex discharge coordination, and respiratory programme development.
Prior to founding EliteCare, Kaine worked with a globally renowned medtech company specialising in Sleep Disordered Breathing and Respiratory Care, where she served as a Key Account Manager. In that role, she managed channel partners who were dispatched to patients’ homes to troubleshoot complex respiratory devices.
These partners were not clinical individuals — when they encountered issues beyond their scope, they called Kaine directly. She would assess the situation remotely, determine whether the device issue could be resolved at home, or make the critical call to direct the patient to the Emergency Room. This front-line experience at the intersection of clinical decision-making, remote device management, and real-world home care is the direct inspiration for EliteCare’s 24/7 remote tele-clinical support model.
The clinical programme is directed by a DHA-licensed Pulmonologist (Medical Director), with a team of Registered Respiratory Therapists, a Physiotherapist, a Wound Care Specialist, and a Registered Nurse Care Coordinator.
What types of patients does EliteCare serve?
- Ventilator-dependent patients (invasive and non-invasive ventilation)
- Post-ICU patients in respiratory recovery
- Patients with COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, or chronic respiratory failure
- Tracheostomy patients requiring ongoing stoma care and management
- Neuromuscular disease patients — ALS, MND, muscular dystrophy
- Post-COVID long-haul respiratory complications
- Post-cardiac or thoracic surgery patients needing respiratory rehabilitation
- Palliative patients requiring respiratory symptom management
- Paediatric ventilated patients
- Patients requiring wound care management — complex wounds, pressure ulcers, post-surgical wounds, and diabetic foot ulcers
What does a typical EliteCare home visit involve?
A typical visit includes a structured clinical assessment, review of ventilator parameters or respiratory equipment, airway clearance therapy, medication review, NABIDH-compliant clinical documentation, and caregiver education. All findings are documented in our Unite+ EMR system (NABIDH-connected) within 2 hours of the visit.
Between visits, patients and caregivers have access to 24/7 remote tele-clinical support — direct contact with a credentialled clinician for guidance, troubleshooting, and early deterioration detection.
Hospital Partner
Referral Pathways and Clinical Collaboration
How do hospitals refer patients to EliteCare?
Hospital discharge coordinators, ICU nurses, and pulmonologists can refer directly to EliteCare via info@elitecareglobal.com, or through our website. We will respond within 4 working hours to discuss the patient’s clinical profile and confirm the care plan.
We are establishing formal referral MOUs with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Dubai hospitals, including King’s College Hospital Dubai, American Hospital Dubai, Mediclinic City Hospital, Al Zahra Hospital, and Saudi German Hospital Dubai.
What clinical information does EliteCare need at referral?
For an efficient referral, we request: discharge summary or clinical summary, current ventilator settings (if applicable), current oxygen prescription, list of active medications, patient contact details and home address, next of kin and caregiver details, and the referring physician’s contact for ongoing clinical communication.
We manage the rest — home assessment, equipment coordination, care plan development, and NABIDH documentation.
How does EliteCare communicate clinical updates back to the referring team?
All clinical visit notes are documented in our NABIDH-connected EMR (Unite+), which shares data with Dubai’s unified health information network. Referring physicians can access patient records through NABIDH. We also provide direct clinical updates to the referring physician at agreed intervals or when there is a significant change in the patient’s condition.
